According to a nationwide sleep survey conducted by Nielsen Malaysia, 9 out of 10 Malaysians have trouble sleeping. Most people have sleep disorders, such as waking up in the middle of the night, sleepwalking, insomnia, poor sleep quality, etc.
What’s more, there is a common misconception that long sleep does not mean a well-rested brain and body. It’s body and brain enter a normal sleep cycle while sleeping.
Studies have shown that human sleep has a biorhythm, which consists of 4 to 5 sleep cycles. Having a good sleep cycle is more effective than sleeping eight hours a day.
